WIZARD JEANS

Nothing else offers the versatility of being worn on the school run, a night out, a day at work and a weekend of lounging around the house. Of course everyone loves jeans. But sometimes it’s tough finding the perfect pair for your shape.

So – after all the research - I found that it was possible to bond a ‘spanx’ like fabric to denim.

I did a trial run which sold out immediately and so I moved away from the other products of Glamour2Go - and decided to concentrate on being a one product company – and so Wizard Jeans was launched in late 2009

The unique Wizard (c) bonding technology works in the same way that many years ago a ‘roll-on’ used to, but better and much more comfortable – it holds you in and lifts you up - but with maximum comfort and effect. The Daily Mail refers to it as being like 'denim Spanx’.

As you will see - the ‘Spanx’ like fabric is bonded on to the denim and goes from the waist down to and including the very top of the thighs – which lifts the bottom, lifts and holds in the stomach and gives a very flattering contour to the hips.

The Wizard range also features styles without bonding and they all benefit from very high quality cut and 'pocket control' to achieve a flattering silhouette.

With particular attention to cut, design, high quality and fashion, Wizard Jeans are popular across the generations and for both sexes. They are the perfect way to look fantastic in jeans at any age.

Added to this, Wizard is now famous for our unique best-selling evening jeans - some – sprinkled all over with diamante stones.

To start with I could only get the jeans made in China as it was impossible to find anyone who could do the production or produce the technology here in the UK.

Since then, we have made huge efforts to bring our production back to the UK as we believe that it is of major importance to support industry in our own country – but in the case of manufacturing jeans a resurrection was necessary first!

In the 70s most of the equipment necessary for producing jeans was sent overseas and an enormous number of factories, in the garment industry as a whole, closed down and most of the specific skills needed for manufacturing denim were lost. Now a slow but sure resurgence is taking place – and we are extremely proud to be part of it.

WIZARD JEANS REAR OF THE YEAR

One of the great fun ways we promoted Wizard when we started - was by sponsoring the Wizard Jeans Rear of the Year competition – and we had some great winners.

Some took it more seriously than others – but it was hilarious. In 2010 we had Fiona Bruce and Ricky Whittle.

In 2011 Carol Vorderman and the very cheeky - Anton du Beke were the winners.

Obviously these events create huge publicity and lots of column inches and none more than Carol as she is a real press magnet.

Then in 2012, Coronations Street’s Shobna Gulati and the amazing John Barrowman won the Award

John wanted to do wet jean shots - so kept jumping in the fountain on the roof at The Dorchester Hotel - much to the delight of the assembled press. Shobna started off rather shy at showing off her bum - but soon got into the swing of things.
