CHILDREN IN CRISIS
After Fergie’s embarrassing toe sucking faux pas hit the newspapers - one of her friends contacted me to help with creating positive PR for the Duchess – of which - she was in dire need.
So in 1993 we created the charity ‘Children in Crisis’ and launched it with 'Stay Alive Aid‘ - a national fundraising appeal for the children of former Yugoslavia – run through The Daily Express and supported by a sequence of events, including the ‘Stay Alive Ball’.
We raised over £1.4m in four months – A LOT OF MONEY THEN. This was the beginning of Children in Crisis which is still thriving today.
